Our Mission

The Mountain Memories Association was established in 1968 with a singular mission: to actively support the well-being and prosperity of the Mountain Communities. Initially, our primary fundraising event, Fiesta Days, served as the cornerstone of our efforts. Today, we proudly announce the addition of two cherished events to our annual fundraising calendar: The Mountain Communities Holiday Faire & Fantasy of Lights Parade and The Ridge Route Run Car Show. These events have long been a source of joy and tradition for residents and visitors alike, and we are thrilled to take on the responsibility of keeping their legacies alive.

We extend an open invitation to any group or organization seeking financial support for projects aimed at enhancing the health and welfare of the Mountain Communities. You are welcome to present your cause before our Board during one of our monthly meetings. For inquiries or additional details about our meetings, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at (661) 623-2340.

In 2009, we initiated the Mountain Memories Community Grant program to streamline the process of securing funding for community groups. Since the inception of our grant program, Mountain Memories has proudly allocated over $15,000 in grants to local groups and organizations dedicated to elevating the well-being and health of our cherished Mountain Communities.
